Sound Baths
A floating sound bath is a meditative and immersive experience that combines the therapeutic benefits of sound healing with the soothing sensation of floating in water. During a S7W floating sound bath session, participants will lie on floating mattresses, with a neck pillow, blanket, and eyemask for a sensory experience.
Participants will be surrounded by various sound instruments such as singing bowls, gongs, chimes, flutes, drums, or other percussion instruments to produce harmonious tones and vibrations. These sounds help induce a state of deep relaxation, reduce stress, alleviate anxiety, and promote overall well-being.
The combination of floating on water and being enveloped by the soundscape created by the instruments can create a profound sensory experience, allowing participants to disconnect from the outside world and enter a state of deep relaxation and introspection.
We invite you to relax, rejuvenate, and immerse yourself in the tranquil experience of our floating sound baths. To ensure a serene atmosphere, we kindly ask all guests to silence their phones and use soft vocal tones upon arrival. While photos are welcome before and after the session, all devices and personal belongings must be safely secured, and phones turned off during the 60-75 minute sound bath for an uninterrupted journey of relaxation.
The Floating Experience:
Floaters will be guided to the loading corner to board their floating mattress. Shoes must be removed prior to boarding, and convenient tables and chairs are available for your belongings. Your evening begins with a grounding meditation and gentle, soothing sounds, setting the stage for a one-hour sonic meditation led by Danielle Thibodeaux and her Co-Collaborators.
As you float, allow the harmonious vibrations to guide you into a deeply meditative state. Please note there may be gentle water movement to maintain the flow of the experience. Should you need assistance, simply raise your arm, and one of our water assistants will quietly assist you.
Post-Sound Bath:
Following the session, floaters will be escorted back for off-loading. Guests are welcome to enjoy refreshments (depending on location) in a peaceful environment. To honor the relaxation of all attendees, we kindly request continued silenced phones and quiet vocal tones until the event concludes.
